Your price includes unlimited studio time, paints, clear glaze, kiln firing and wrapping.
First time? No problem at all.
We’ll help you choose a piece and can show you a few easy techniques like stamping, sponging, stencilling, and silk screening.

Take home kits
Take the studio home with you. Pick out your pottery in-store and we’ll pack up everything you need—paints, brushes, and instructions. When you're finished, bring it back and we’ll glaze and fire it for you.

Not for small groups! Drop-in pottery painting is available anytime during studio hours.
Groups of four or more are encouraged to call or email ahead so we can have space ready for you when you arrive.
We'll always do our best to seat non-painters with your group. During especially busy times, like Christmas, seating is prioritized for guests who are painting. Thanks for understanding.
No, your finished pieces stay with us for a little while! Pottery needs 7 to 10 days to process and fire in our studio kilns.
We'll contact you as soon as your pottery is ready for pickup, usually within 7–10 days. Once we've let you know it's ready, you'll have 45 days to collect your finished piece.
We may be able to process it in 3 days, depending on if we have enough pieces to fill our kiln.
Absolutely! Take your time. You're welcome to come back and finish your piece on a weekday, when the studio is generally quieter. If you return on a weekend, a $15 sitting fee applies. Thanks for understanding.
Yes! Once glazed and fired, your pottery is food safe. Because every piece is handmade, we recommend handwashing only—no dishwashers!
Yes, painters of all ages are welcome in the studio! Our underglazes are non-toxic, so they’re safe for little hands and perfect for baby handprint and footprint pieces too. Just keep in mind that younger children often have shorter attention spans and may finish painting a little sooner, which is totally okay. You're welcome to enjoy the studio at your own pace.
Our Take Home Kits let you enjoy the Crack Pot experience from the comfort of your home.
Choose your pottery in the studio, then select up to six paint colours per piece (fewer if choosing multiples of the same colour). We'll package everything you need including your pottery, paints, a sponge, a wooden decorating skewer and an instruction sheet.
When you're finished, simply return your piece to the studio. We'll glaze and kiln-fire it, then let you know when it's ready for pickup, usually within 7–10 days. After we contact you, you'll have 45 days to collect it.
